Watch heartwarming video of Burna Boy’s mum reacting to his latest BOSS campaign
Nigerian superstar Burna Boy, also known as Damini Ogulu, recently featured in a BOSS campaign, and his mother, Bose Ogulu, had a heartwarming reaction to it.
The Grammy-winning artist joined an impressive lineup of global icons for the new BOSS ‘IT’S FOR LIFE’ campaign, including South Korean actor Lee Jong-suk, football legend David Beckham, supermodels Naomi Campbell and Gisele Bündchen, and Italian tennis player Matteo Berrettini.
In a viral video, Burna Boy’s mother, who also serves as his manager, was spotted on the streets of Dublin, proudly watching the campaign video on a large screen featuring her son modeling for BOSS. Clearly filled with pride, she joyfully celebrated her son’s achievement and was heard jokingly questioning whether she truly gave birth to someone as successful as Burna Boy.
The BOSS campaign wardrobe centers on formal attire, reimagining classic suiting with clean, strong silhouettes. This campaign continues the brand’s ‘CorpCore’ aesthetic, introduced in 2023, which channels the sleek, refined style popularized by HBO’s “Succession” and the iconic Christian Bale “American Psycho” look.
In 2022, the Hugo Boss brand split into two labels: BOSS, which focuses on classic pieces reflecting the brand’s heritage, and Hugo, which caters to a younger audience with more fashion-forward designs and accessories.
