Why Dangote’s petrol is the best form of petrol – Charly Boy
Following the commencement of petrol production at Aliko Dangote’s refinery, Nigerian singer Charly Boy has shed light on why this version of fuel is superior to previous ones.
On September 5, 2024, Charly Boy took to Instagram to explain why Dangote’s petrol has a white appearance, marking a significant advancement in fuel production.
In his post, Charly Boy wrote, “Why Dangote Fuel is White? The reason why the PMS is pure like water. Petrol comes in different colours. When it’s red, octane was added. When it’s slightly green, there’s a higher amount of octane. Yellow indicates it’s unleaded, meaning no lead was added.”
He went on to explain that the clear appearance of Dangote’s petrol indicates the use of ethanol, which enhances the fuel’s efficiency and reduces pollution.
“When it’s clear as water, ethanol was used. Ethanol improves engine efficiency and power. With its oxygen content, it reduces carbonation in engines, thus cutting down on air pollution, particularly carbon dioxide emissions. This makes it the best form of petrol. Congratulations, Dangote,” Charly Boy concluded.
