Charly Boy shares why he would have chosen Made Kuti to be his son-in-law.
Charly Boy has revealed why he would have handed one of his daughters to Afrobeat musician Made Kuti if they were not already married.
This was stated by the 72-year-old, who first met Made during labor Party presidential candidate Peter Obi’s visit to Made’s father Femi Kuti, in a recent Instagram post where he also included a picture of the two of them.
Area Fade praised Made Kuti, the son of Femi Kuti, and said that if one of his daughters had not already been married, he would have happily married her off to him.
Charly Boy described Made as a “well put together child of his father”, stating that he is impressed. He wrote:
“My first time, meeting and interacting with dis young man. Femi’s son, Made. If my daughters never marry I would have sent one of dem to capture him. Made is a well-put-together child of his father. Am so impressed.”
Reacting in the comment section of the post, Made wrote: “Thank you, Uncle Charly!”
Femi Kuti also thanked his colleague for complimenting his son.
“Thank you, Charlie,” he wrote.

Femi Kuti’s ex-wife Funke also reacted by liking the post.
Made is in a relationship with Inedoye Adanne Onyenso, a 24-year-old actress and model.
In a complementary post, Charly Boy further expressed excitement about his visit to the Kuti’s, describing Made as a special child.
He highlighted how the Afrobeat pioneer, Fela impacted his life while acknowledging the immense love and respect he has for the ‘great Nigerian family’.
“I went to visit the Kuti’s today, had a great time and met someone very special, Made Kuti. I love the Kuti’s,” he wrote.
“Baba Fela emboldened my sagacity, audacity and consistency. I have nothing but mad love and respect for this great Nigerian family.”
