CDQ weighs in on Davido and Wizkid’s London club drama
Nigerian rapper CDQ has weighed in on the ongoing buzz surrounding the recent awkward encounter between Afrobeats stars Davido and Wizkid at a London club.
In a lighthearted Instagram story, CDQ humorously compared the two music heavyweights to a married couple, suggesting that their “beef” is a never-ending saga.
He wrote, “Dem no dey put mouth for Wiz n David fight. Ori e lon ma fi igo gbeyin. Just let them play 2 of dem be like husband n wīfe till thy kingdom come.”
In translation, CDQ advised fans to avoid getting involved in the drama, hinting that meddling might only lead to unnecessary trouble.
He also implied that Davido and Wizkid are simply having fun with their long-standing rivalry.
CDQ’s remarks came shortly after videos surfaced online, showing Davido and Wizkid apparently ignoring each other at the club, fueling fan speculation and debate about the state of their relationship.
