South African rapper, Cassper Nyovest has responded to a South African TV Presenter who says he needs to take a break from music.
South African TV host, Siyabonga “Scoop” Ngwekazi in a virtual show said that Rappers like AKA, Kwesta, Cassper Nyovest should take a long break from music.
According to him, they don’t have anything new to say or add to the Hip hop community and that they should allow new school rappers to shine.
Cassper Nyovest in response wrote in a tweet,
This doesn’t apply to me at all. Firstly, my last album was 2 years ago. My music never ever sounds the same. I am always in the streets hence i catch on to the next SOUND before anyone does whether ke piano or drill. Lastly, my next album drops Sep 11th & it’s fucking amazing!!!
