American rapper and singer Cardi B has spoken out against the backlash surrounding her relationship with NFL star Stefon Diggs, calling on critics to stop attacking her over her personal choices.
Taking to her social media page, the outspoken artiste addressed comments targeting her for having a child with the athlete, stressing that the situation is irreversible and should no longer be a topic of public scrutiny.
Cardi made it clear that she cannot undo the past, noting that she already shares a child with Diggs and there is no way to change that reality.
According to the rapper, the constant criticism has taken an emotional toll on her, adding to her stress and frustration. She urged people to stop “dragging” her online and allow her some peace.
“I can’t change it, I can’t go back in time. Do you want me to put my baby back in my tummy? I can’t do that,” she said. “You all need to stop calling me out. I’m already stressed.”
