Nigerian Grammy Award-winning artist Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, known professionally as Burna Boy has achieved a new milestone for African music with the release of his album ‘Love Damini’, which makes its Billboard chart debut.
Odogwu proved once again that he is in fact the African Giant as he set a new record on the Billboard 200 Chart with his sixth studio album ‘Love Damini.’
The project becomes the singer’s sixth studio album which was released on Friday, July 8, 2022, and it has eased the hearts of his followers with this masterpiece, which has been in the works since 2020.

The musical genius released his 19-track project to honour several years of nothing but the biggest blockbusters in the music industry.
The star-studded project has major features from international acts like J Hus on ‘Cloak and Dagger,’ Victony on ‘Different Size,’ Ed Sheeran on ‘For My Hand’ Blxst and Kehlani on “Solid”, Popcaan on “Toni-Ann Singh”, Ladysmith Black Mambazo on “Love Damini”, Khalid on Wild Dreams and J Balvin on “Rollercoaster.”
‘Love Damini’ debuted at number 14 on the Billboard 200 chart which is strictly for album sales after selling over 25,000 copies.
This would be the highest-ranking Nigerian album of all time in the US, and it is an accomplishment worth celebrating in African music.
