The Billboard Hot 100 chart positions of Burna Boy’s “Last Last” rise.
Nigerian Afrofusion Superstar, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, known professionally as Burna Boy, has set a new milestone on the Billboard Hot 100 with his buzzing song “Last Last”.
The Grammy-winning musician is enjoying success with his chart-topping tune “Last Last.”
The Monster Jam, which was produced by Nigerian ace beatmaker Chopstix and sampled American diva Toni Braxton’s iconic 2000 album “He Wasn’t Man Enough,” was released in May 2022 to start the African Giant’s year.
The song, which has become a global smash, debuted on the Billboard Hot 100, the official music chart in the United States, in the 86th spot last week, moving up 14 places this week to be in the 72nd position, above heavyweights such as Sam Smith, Kendrick Lamar, Sia, and others.

In other news, Afrobeats, the largest musical export from Nigeria, keeps expanding internationally, and some of the genre’s favourites, including Burna Boy, Tems, and Pheelz, are included on former American president Barack Obama’s summer playlist for 2022.
On Tuesday, July 26, 2022, the former president of the United States of America (USA) published the list on his official Twitter account.
According to him, it’s an example of how music really can bring us all together.
“Every year, I get excited to share my summer playlist because I learn about so many new artists from your replies—it’s an example of how music really can bring us all together,” Obama Tweeted.
Burna Boy’s ‘Last Last,’ Tems ‘Vibe Out,’ and ‘Finesse,’ the global hit single by ace music producer Pheelz featuring BNXN (formerly called Buju), are the three songs by Nigerian acts that made the Obama 2022 summer playlist.
