Nigerian Afrofusion and Afrobeat singer, songwriter and record producer, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, known professionally as Burna Boy, has hit new milestones as his “Love Damini” album becomes the most-streamed on Audiomack for June 2022.
Burna Boy rose to the top of the Nigerian music scene after the release of “Twice As Tall” in 2020. The record, which went on to win a Grammy, was a fitting example of how African music can appeal to listeners both domestically and outside. A new day had dawned for Afrobeats.
The African Giant recently releases his 6th studio project, ‘Love Damini,’ is a 19-track project that features heavyweights such as J Hus, Victony, Ed Sheeran, Blxst, Kehlani, Popcaan, Khalid, J Balvin, and Ladysmith Black Mambazo, and it’s racking up the hits after its release.

In February 2021, Billboard announced that Audiomack streaming data would begin informing some of its flagship charts, including the Hot 100, the Billboard 200, and the Global 200. In March 2021, Fast Company magazine named Audiomack one of the 10 most innovative companies in music.
However, the Global music streaming platform, Audiomack, has released a list of their most streamed albums for July 2022. The list also includes names like Omah Lay, Naira Marley, T Dollar, Kizz Daniel, Asake and a host of others.
According to the platform, for July 2022, their top ten most-streamed albums include Burna Boy‘s ‘Love Damini‘, Omah Lay‘s ‘Boy Alone‘, Naira Marley‘s ‘God’s Timing’s The Best‘, T Dollar‘s ‘Born 2 Shine’ EP, Kizz Daniel‘s ‘Barnabas’, and a host of others.
