Burna Boy’s 2024 Grammy performance ranks 6th on Billboard
The performance by Nigerian artist Burna Boy at the 2024 Grammys has garnered significant recognition, earning the No. 6 spot on Billboard’s rankings.
According to Mp3bullet reports, Burna Boy made his debut Grammy Awards performance on Sunday, February 4.
During his performance, Burna Boy delivered a rendition of ‘Sittin on Top of the World,’ accompanied by Brandy and 21 Savage.
In a ranking list released by Billboard on Tuesday, Burna Boy’s performance was commended, stating: “For the first Afrobeats performance at the 2024 Grammys, Burna Boy pulled out all the stops. Backed by Brandy’s gorgeous vocals and 21 Savage’s detached, confident cool, he sang ‘Sittin’ on Top of the World’ and demonstrated that is precisely where he belongs.”
Despite Burna Boy’s stellar performance, South African singer Tyla emerged as the triumphant winner at the 2024 Grammy Awards, securing the Best African Music Performance award.
