‘Odogwu’ of the Music Industry, Burna Boy, has earned himself a ‘Best World Album’ award at the 2020 Edison Awards.
Burna Boy becomes the first Nigerian to win the award. However, African acts; Youssou N’Dour and Angelique Kidjo won the award in 1994 and 2018 respectively.
The singer bagged his second consecutive Grammy Award nomination. This has placed the artiste on a higher pedestal.

Burna reacting to this new win took to Twitter to celebrate it. He wrote;
