Burna Boy set to shut down London Stadium for Love Damini tour
Burna Boy creates history by announcing his 2023 Love, Damini London Stadium performance, which will make him the first-ever African performer to headline a stadium in the UK.
Burna, whose song Alone from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is presently at No. 1 on the Official Afrobeats Chart, will perform at the historic London stadium on Saturday, June 3, 2023, promising a “legendary” performance.
It will also be his largest solo audience to date, with Burna Boy performing to a 60,000-strong crowd at West Ham Football Club’s home ground next summer.
Announcing the news, Burna says: “London Stadium is going to be my fairground! I’ve been told that I couldn’t achieve anything because of where I came from, I hope this can show people that when you have a dream it doesn’t matter where you’ve come from, your dream can come true.
“This is going to be legendary, it’s history and I can’t wait for you all to be a part of that.”

Recall that Mp3bullet.ng reported in 2021 that Burna Boy shared his aspirations to save Africa with a stadium concert in the United Kingdom the following year.
The African Giant revealed that he got the idea for the stadium event in the UK next year after viewing the great film Bohemian Rhapsody.
He compared his suggestion to the Live Aid concert and urged the British government to support the cause fully. As he puts it:
‘It’s just a dream right now but I EXPECT THE BRITISH GOVERNMENT to support this fully. After all most of us are/were British colonies.’
