In other news, Burna Boy achieved a significant milestone by surpassing 1 billion streams in the UK, joining an elite club of African artists. However, he expressed disappointment upon receiving a commemorative BRIT plaque for this achievement, which came two years after he hit the milestone.
The ‘African Giant‘ artist was awarded the BRIT plaque during his sold-out show at the London Stadium on Saturday night in recognition of this accomplishment.
Despite the honor, Burna Boy voiced his displeasure, highlighting the delay in the recognition. “What I want to know is why I’m getting this? Why not add all of them together; a bigger one. This was two years ago; nawa for una o. You people should update but I appreciate it,” he remarked.
