    Burna Boy, Tems bag nomination at the 2023 International Reggae & World Music Awards

    In the 40th International Reggae and World Music Awards, Nigerian acts Burna Boy and Tems received nominations (IRAWMA).

    Burna Boy, Patoranking, and Tems have all been nominated for the International Reggae and World Music Awards 2023.

    The African Giant got 2 nominations. One for Best Crossover Single for his song ‘Toni-Ann Singh,’ which features Popcaan.

    The other is for Best Afrobeats Entertainer, which includes Diamond Platnumz of Tanzania, Eddy Kenzo of Uganda, Tems of Nigeria, and Willy Paul of Kenya.

    Among the other nominees are Koffee, Popcaan, Spice, Sean Paul, Shaggy, Christopher Martin, Dexter Daps, Etana, and many more.

    Nigerian Dancehall superstar Patoranking was nominated for Best African Dancehall Act, with Sierra Leone’s Star Zee, Ghana’s Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy, and Zimbabwe’s Winky D.

    On May 7, 2023, the award ceremony is scheduled to take place in Kingston, Jamaica.
