Afro Nation, the world’s largest celebration of Afrobeats and Amapiano, is gearing up for its fifth anniversary in 2025 with an impressive lineup.

Following the earlier announcement of headliners Burna Boy and Tems, Afro Nation Portugal has added even more major stars to the LIT Stage, including Afrobeats sensation Ayra Starr.

The Benin-born singer, known for her distinct voice and collaborations with global stars like Stormzy, will take the stage from July 9th to 11th, 2025, on the beach in Portimão.

Other newly confirmed acts include two of France’s biggest hip-hop stars, Franglish and Tiakola, along with London’s Afro-fusion singer Gabzy and Afro-Congo pioneer Innoss’B. These names add to an already electrifying lineup, promising an unforgettable summer experience.

Afro Nation will also celebrate Amapiano in style, with top trailblazers from South Africa’s dance music scene headlining the festival. DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small, performing as Scorpion Kings, will make their Portugal debut together, while DBN Gogo, fresh off a phenomenal year, ascends to headliner status.

The Amapiano lineup will also feature pioneers like Oskido, rising stars such as Rosey Gold, and crowd favorites like Vigro Deep, Mörda, Shakes & Les, and KMAT.

Since its inception in 2019, Afro Nation has united the African diaspora, celebrating music, fashion, and culture. With its global reach spanning three continents, the festival continues to push African music to new heights, reshaping live entertainment and elevating African culture on the world stage.

As Afro Nation gears up for its fifth anniversary, 2025 promises to be the festival’s biggest celebration yet, offering an unparalleled experience for fans worldwide.

The Malachite Group (TMG) said: “We told you we had major moves planned for our fifth year anniversary party in Portugal! 2025 will be a special year for the Afro Nation community, and this is just the start. Don’t miss your chance to join us on the beach again next summer… Together we move!”

With anticipation growing fast for the fifth anniversary of Afro Nation Portugal 2025, The Malachite Group (TMG) has also planned a host of unmissable events across the calendar in London and beyond.

Kicking off with Afro Nation Presents LIT at Flipper’s Roller Boogie Palace with Dope Ceaser on Friday 4th of October and Piano People Presents Kelvin Momo at Troxy on Saturday 5th of October, the road to Afro Nation will be packed with good vibes, love, and enjoyment!

Afro Nation Portugal takes place 9th–11th July 2025. Ticket Pre-Sale starts 2nd October at 10 am BST before General On Sale 3rd October at 10 am BST. Sign up for priority access to tickets here: https://www.afronation.com/
