Everywhere would shake if I had access to my Twitter account – Burna Boy
Nigerian Afro-fusion superstar Burna Boy has expressed his thoughts on what he would do if he had access to his Twitter account.
He currently does not have access to his Twitter account and has made it clear that if he did, he would be a frequent presence and wouldn’t tolerate disrespect from anyone.
During an interview on Kiss Fresh hosted by Henrie, the singer revealed that his management has taken control of his Twitter account. He emphasized that if he were to regain access, he would make waves on a daily basis because he doesn’t tolerate online disrespect. Burna confidently stated that his presence on Twitter would consistently shake the ground.
In his own words: “If I had access to my account everywhere would be shaking every day. The ground will be elevating based on my feelings and I don’t like disrespect on the internet and they always try to disrespect me on the internet. So my management does not let me have access, if not then the ground will elevate. I will spend too much time there, honestly, I will spend a lot of time there.”

Burna Boy, known for his no-nonsense attitude, shared his perspective with Twitter users during the interview. He initially expressed his dislike for Twitter users and believed that Nigerian Twitter users were particularly feisty. However, his perception changed when he encountered users from other countries like the US, Kenya, and South Africa.
He remarked, “I don’t like people on Twitter. I used to think that it was just Nigerians on Twitter that were just mad, then I went to Kenya and saw that it was the same thing. Then I went to South Africa and saw that it was the same thing.”
Given Burna Boy’s reputation for not tolerating disrespect, it’s not surprising that he would have engaged in clapbacks and assertive interactions on Twitter if he had control over his account.
