African superstar, Burna Boy has revealed he doesn’t talk much on socio-political issues to avoid getting into trouble but rather speak through music.
Burna Boy was in an interview with the UN Departmental secretary, Amina Muhammed.
He was asked; “How do you speak to the world from your lived reality of seeing injustice around different forms”.
Burna Boy replied with;
“For me. I’m the most realistic and realist person you’ll ever meet. I don’t know to sugarcoat anything and I don’t know how to be politically correct.
So this is why I usually don’t have these conversations, I just put them in music, if not, I’ll end up getting in trouble.”
