Afrobeat Elite, Burna Boy has revealed that he doesn’t earn any money from Nigeria despite his fame in the country.
Burna Boy has got social media buzzing after he declared he wasn’t a Nigerian Artist. This came after a fan had told Nigerians that they would soon make the singer abandon them on Twitter.
His statement didn’t sit well with Nigerians who took to the comment section to make their grievances known. They condemned his statement, accusing him of denying his nationality.
One, in particular, said that despite the fact that he promotes African culture with his songs he is denying his motherland.

Burna in response explained what he meant by his statement. According to him, despite the fact that he is from Nigeria and he loves Nigerians, he doesn’t make any money from the country, that all the country has to offer him is cruise.
