Globally acclaimed Nigerian Afro-Fusion musician, Burna Boy has spoken about how he loathed the sound of his voice at the start of his music career and how his grandfather inspired him to accomplish more for himself.
Burna Boy claimed in an interview with Clique X that he had never liked how his voice sounded and had no idea why others liked it until he was spoken to by his grandfather.
According to him, his grandpa told him to focus on making his voice exceptional by cherishing his gift and knowing how to deliver on his music career.
He added that his grandfather used a Saxophone as an example to explain how he could maximize his voice.
According to Burna’s Grandfather, blowing air through a saxophone, one of the best musical instruments in the world, does not sound pleasant, but that when it is used to deliver a tune and the player knows what he is doing, the saxophone becomes the best instrument ever.
