Burna Boy has four nominations for the 2022 Soul Train Awards.
Damini Ogulu, also known as Burna Boy, has been nominated for the 2022 Soul Train Awards.
The Soul Train Music Awards are an annual music awards event that acknowledges and rewards achievement in African American culture, music, and entertainment. It also includes musical performances by a variety of current R&B and soul artists.
The ceremony will take place on November 13, 2022, in Las Vegas, and will be hosted by the multi-award-winning American actor and comedian Deon Cole.
The Grammy-winning singer, who was nominated in the categories of “Best R&B/Soul Male Artist,” “Song of the Year,” “Video of the Year,” and “Best R&B/Soul Male Artist,” leads the list of nominees from Nigeria.

Meanwhile, Burna boy has bagged a new Spotify record with his “African Giant” album.
The singer has made a name for himself as one of the biggest performers in the world and as Africa’s top export after the release of his “African Giant” project.
Burna Boy’s 2019 album, ‘African Giant’, has reached 600 million streams on Spotify. This new landmark ‘African Giant’ reached made Burna the first African artist to have an album reach 600 million streams on Spotify.
The top songs on the album with the most streams are: On The Low, Gbona, and Anybody. Odogwu is one of the biggest African artists ever. The 31-year-old has broken records and sold millions of records worldwide.
In 2021, he became the first Nigerian artist to win a solo Grammy award. The Grammy award-winning album by Burna Boy was ‘Twice As Tall’, released in 2020.
