Burna Boy becomes the first African Artist to perform at the Billboard Music Awards, Grammys and BET and BRITS.
Burna Boy is steadily creating a legacy that many Artists in the African music scene won’t be able to beat as he is now a favourite of international award shows like Grammy, Billboard Music Awards, BRITS and the rest.
The singer delivered a spectacular performance at the 2022 Billboard Awards in MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Odogwu got fans grooving to his new single, the Toni Braxton-sampling “Last Last,” and the dub-flavoured, laid-back single “Kilometer” from 2021.
Burna Boy wore a stylishly flayed black suit jacket and shorts compliments of his stylist sister, Romani as he wowed the crowd.
The African Giant is the first Nigerian artist to perform at a Billboard Award Show, which should thrill everyone asking why his appearance is noteworthy.
Even Wizkid, who has been nominated numerous times and has won two Billboard awards, did not perform on the Billboard stage.

Burna Boy shared the stage with Diddy, Becky G, Silk Sonic, Megan the Stallion, Bryson, and Machine Gun Kelly.
He has also become the first African artist to perform at The Grammys, Billboard Music Awards, BRIT Awards and BET Hip Hop Awards.
