Burna Boy turned the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon into a full-blown spectacle, filling the stage with a lively crew of dancers and musicians as he delivered a vibrant medley of “Update” and “Love.”
The two songs, his first and most recent releases of the year, felt like musical bookends framing his album No Sign of Weakness.

The performance opened with Burna flanked by two disco dancers shimmering in silver jumpsuits, their movements bouncing off the stage lights. Behind him, three backing vocalists and an eight-piece band created a rich, full sound.
With “Update,” Burna Boy carried an upbeat spirit into the room, singing lines like “On a normal day, them no fit touch my energy,” an anthem-like boost for the year ahead.
When the medley transitioned into “Love,” the energy softened into something warm and sure-footed. Burna eased into messages of self-worth and independence, offering reminders such as “No go dey live your life to impress anybody” and “Never buy a dream if it’s sold to you.”
Though The Tonight Show rarely airs on Sundays, the program made a special exception for this particular episode, which also featured Millie Bobby Brown and Kenan Thompson.
Burna’s appearance comes as he approaches the final leg of his No Signs of Weakness world tour. The trek picks back up on Dec. 8 in Atlanta before rolling through Orlando, Newark, Montréal, and Toronto to close out the year.
In January, the tour restarts with a slate of shows across Europe, a continuation of a global run that mirrors his unstoppable momentum.
