Burna Boy’s Hit Single ‘Ye’ Certified Platinum In UK.
Grammy-winning Afrobeats megastar, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu MFR, known professionally as Burna Boy, has achieved a new feat as his hit single ‘Ye’ got certified Platinum in the UK.
Burna Boy is one of the artists spearheading the Afrobeats to the world charge with his music and stagecraft, earning him millions of admirers worldwide.
The African Giant has been incredibly successful in the music industry, and it’s always exciting to hear about his achievements.
According to Chart Data on Twitter, Burna Boy’s 2018 smash song “Ye” received Platinum certification in the UK on Friday (June 30).
Burna Boy rose to fame internationally in 2018 with the song “Ye,” which was produced by Phantom. It was also included on his 2018 album “Outside.”
A song must sell at least 600,000 units in the UK in order to receive the Platinum certification. To obtain the certification, ‘Ye‘ by African Giant had to attain this level.
