Burna Boy appeared on 21 Savage’s latest album
The new album ‘American Dream’ by 21 Savage features Burna Boy in a musical fusion of a kind never heard before.
The album was released on Friday, January 12th. The rapper’s first solo album since “I Am > I Was” in 2018 is titled “American Dream.” The story of his detention by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) beginning in 2019 is chronicled in this CD. “Just like me” is the title of the song.
This would be the second song on which the two artists have worked together. 21 Savage and Burna Boy worked together on the 2023 song “Sittin’ on top of the world,” which is from his “I told them” album. The song was included in the Grammy Award nominations for Best Melodic Rap.
Along with other international musicians including Travis Scott, Doja Cat, and Metro Boomin‘, the album has fifteen tracks. When these two well-known musicians collaborate, their unique sounds should result in a song that appeals to listeners everywhere and crosses cultural barriers.
The official music video for the ‘Do I’ remix by African gaint and Phyno was released, adding to the song’s punch. He received four nominations for the 66th Grammy Awards, which are scheduled to take place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on February 4, 2024.
