Burna Boy is proving in every way that he is truly an African Giant as he earns his second 100 Million streams thanks to his 2018 hit song, “Ye“.
According to reports by his fan page on Twitter, Burna Boy recently hit 100 Million streams on Spotify courtesy of his song, “Ye“.
This would be his second song to do with “On the Low” being his first song to hit that benchmark. It would the third song by a Nigerian Artist to do that.
He also becomes the only African artist to have two songs surpassing 100m streams on the platform.

“Ye” was also certified Gold in the US earlier in the month of May. The song joins the growing list of Nigerian records to be Gold certified in the US. The likes of ‘If’, and ‘Fall’, by Davido as well as ‘Come Closer’ by Wizkid, have all previously achieved the massive feat.
