Grammy Winner, Burna Boy has revealed that he and Wizkid are not competitive when it comes to each other as they’re in different music lanes.
Burna Boy made this revelation during his interview with music personality DJ Whoo Kid. The two spoke about Burna’s relationship with Wizkid, upcoming international features.
When asked about being spotted with Grammy-Award winning producer, Scott Storch, Burna refused to disclose details, only that they made some ‘crazy record’.
The singer also spoke about how the nightlife in Lagos was different from that in the US. According to him, the nightlife in Lagos doesn’t have restrictive rules unlike that in the US.
When queried about whether Wizkid sees his recent award wins as a threat, Burna explained that it wasn’t so as they only have love for each other and have differences when it came to their style of music.
“We are on Different lanes in life, the only similarity is the fact that we are from the same place and that we love each other. That’s what brings us together, where we from and that we love each other.
Expanding more on their differences, he said;
“Wiz is all about the bitches, me am for too many..am about real life and the bitches”.

When asked about Nasty C refusing to be classified under the Afrobeat genre, Burna said;
“Everything isn’t Afrobeat, Nasty is a rapper, and because he is from Africa, you are going to say Afrobeat? Bro, I will put my money on Nasty C over any American rapper”
