Burna Boy discussed his experience working on his award-winning album ‘Twice As Tall‘ with music superstars such as Angelique Kidjo, Youssou N’Dour, and Chris Martin, among others.
Burna revealed in an interview with Trevor Noah on The Daily Show that working with the biggest stars in the African music industry and other countries astounded and amazed him.
The singer admitted that he finds it to be a strange experience most of the time.
In his words;
“These are people that I watched on TV when I was in pampers. You know? Like seeing them in real life and actually making music with them and getting the love sometimes it feels kind of weird.”

During their recent Instagram live session, Angelique Kidjo lavished admiration on Burna Boy, giving him an insight into what makes him special.
Kidjo, a multiple Grammy winner, says she went wild with excitement when she heard a sample of her song on Burna Boy’s record.
It gives her goosebumps, she adds, to see someone touch her song and elevate it to a level she could never have envisioned.
She also applauded the Nigerian singer for being a good performer, revealing she was amazed when she watched him on stage in Paris.
