Bukayo Saka signs new long-term contract at Arsenal.
Arsenal have confirmed that Bukayo Saka has signed a new long-term contract with the club. With his previous contract set to expire at the end of the next season, Saka has been negotiating an extension with the Gunners for months.
Despite interest from other clubs, Arsenal was always sure that the 21-year-old would decide to stay. They have now confirmed that a new deal has been signed that will last until the summer of 2027.
Saka has renewed his contract with Arsenal, joining Gabriel Martinelli and Aaron Ramsdale. William Saliba and Arsenal are still in talks about a contract extension as Arsenal works to ensure the futures of all its top young players.
From Hale End to first team. Arsenal through and through.
It’s time for the next chapter.

He said:
“I’m just really happy. There’s been a lot of talking and it’s been a while, but I’m here now. I think this is the right club, the right place to make the next step. It’s a beautiful club – look where we are. For me, it’s about achieving my personal ambitions; how much I push myself and demand from myself each game, week in, week out. Then I have all the right people around me in terms of family, and when I come to the training ground, my teammates, the coaching staff.
“I think I have everything I need to become the best player I can be, and that’s why I’m happy to stay here and be here for the future, because I really believe that we can achieve big things.”
The news is huge for Arsenal. Saka is the star of Mikel Arteta’s talented young team, as seen by his outstanding achievements this year.
Despite still being only 21, he has become one of the team’s captains and has produced 13 goals and 11 assists in the league this season.
Saka would have been coveted by every elite club in Europe, so concluding his contract before the summer will be a major relief as it removes any lingering doubt about the future of the England international.
On Saturday, the star winger for Arsenal will compete in his final domestic match of the year when the Gunners host Wolves to close up the Premier League season.
