Brighton unwilling to sell Moises Caicedo after £60m Arsenal bid.
According to reports, despite Arsenal’s proposal of £60 million, Brighton & Hove Albion are not willing to let their star midfielder Moises Caicedo leave the team this month.
Caicedo has emerged as one of the most promising players in the 2022–23 Premier League, playing an important role for Brighton, who are presently sixth in the standings.
It makes sense that some of England’s biggest clubs are interested in the 21-year-old after his outstanding performances; according to reports, Arsenal, Chelsea, Newcastle United, Manchester United, and Liverpool are all keeping an eye on him.
The Premier League’s top team, Arsenal, has been the most aggressive in their pursuit of Caicedo this month.

According to sources, they have had a £60 million offer turned down by Brighton.
The Seagulls, who are enjoying great success under Roberto De Zerbi, are adamant that Caicedo won’t be departing this month and have no inclination to consider any other offers.
Speaking to the club’s media team recently, the midfielder himself insisted that he is only thinking of Brighton right now, stating: “I am focused on Brighton,” he told club media. “I am here, I’m playing every day. Things from outside don’t trouble me, nor does it take that focus away because I’m focussed only on here.
“I handle [the speculation] well. You hear rumours here and there, but I only try to be focused on the club where I am now, the club which opened the doors for me to be playing every week.”
