Bontle Modiselle is over the moon as her hubby, Priddy Ugly recently bagged an award, the prestigious Lyricist of the year at the recently held SA Hip-Hop Awards.
Priddy Ugly went on a challenge to encourage hip hop stars to rap with his “are’ rappeng bafwethu” (literally, “let’s rap men”) slogan.
His efforts have paid off, as evidenced by the fact that he won the SA Hip Hop Awards’ prestigious Lyricist of the Year title.
On Tuesday, December 6, the ceremony honoring people who have excelled in the field took place. Getting the honor is appropriate for Priddy Ugly, a self-described master of the written word.

Modiselle has consistently encouraged her husband’s actions both on and off social media. Even when he lost to Cassper Nyovest in their celebrity boxing bout earlier this year, she continues to be his biggest supporter.
In response to her tweet, Priddy Ugly revealed just how devoted his wife is, saying she occasionally acts as his ghostwriter.

The rapper was proud of his achievement having dubbed himself as “lyricist of the year” in a freestyle posted a day before the awards ceremony took place.
In his acceptance speech, Priddy Ugly said that he had no words as he was not expecting the accolade and also gave a shout-out to his fellow nominees
