BNXN opens up on his relationship with Wizkid
Daniel Benson “BNXN fka Buju” revealed he felt Wizkid was a spirit before meeting him, as BNXN spoke extensively about his friendship with the Grammy-winning musician.
The singer of “Lenu” revealed that they grew close when Wizkid included him on his popular song “Mood.”
This was revealed by BNXN during an interview on 102.7 Naija FM. He claimed that after receiving a message from Starboy, he promptly drove over to his residence.
He added that a lot of people had questioned him about how he had been able to meet the Ojuelegba hitmaker so easily given that other musicians had trouble getting to visit him owing to scheduling conflicts.
He talked about how Wizkid, who hardly posts on social media, usually replies to his messages on time except when he saw them late.
“E dey reply me steady, I think say na spirit, na flesh and blood, I shock when I see am” BNXN revealed.
He also said that when he saw Wizkid, he realised he is flesh and blood(human), which was in contrast with his earlier belief that he is a spirit.
The singer released his second music project last Thursday- an EP titled “Bad Since 97” which features superstar music acts like Olamide, Wande Coal and his friend, Wizkid in “Many Ways”.

In other news, BNXN has disclosed that his successful song, Kenkele, was originally written by his senior colleague, Wande Coal.

He revealed during a Naija FM interview that he just so happened to be in the same studio complex as the former MO HITS signee was recording in the adjacent room.
The “Confident” Crooner claimed that when he entered the recording studio and heard Kenkele’s hook, he was enthralled and could not contain his joy.
Wande Coal then asked him to jump on the song but he said did not have a melody for it immediately, so he went home and prepared his own verse.
BNXN returned to the studio the next day with what he had written and recorded on the beat, but by the time he was done, Wande Coal just decided to give him the song while he became the featured artiste on the track.
