BNXN reveals advice he got from Dancehall star, Timaya amid his beef with Ruger.
Nigerian singer, Daniel Benson whose stage name is BNXN has revealed the Nigerian artist that persuaded him to reply to Ruger during their beef.
BNXN and Ruger have clashed on Twitter a few times and it all started when the ‘Bounce’ singer bragged that he is better while replying to a fan.
The “Confident” singer claimed in an interview with Naija FM that Timaya advised him to respond to the tweet since it was insulting to him.
He claimed, however, that Timaya is not someone who frequently gets involved in or is concerned with disputes and issues, so that is why it affected him.
Additionally, according to BNXN, Burna Boy, his former employer, warned him not to be too friendly with other musicians because the music industry is fake.

In his words;
When Burna and other keep telling me the industry is fake, they will be telling me its fake, you can’t keep smiling with everybody. I don’t really get it, until I saw that. And I didn’t even want to react to like say Omah Lay…When I saw Omah Lay’s Tweet, the Timaya called me and was like ‘What kind of disrespect is that, you have to say something?’
He also stated that the incident made him realize that people can have diverse opinions no matter how one feels.
When asked what he would have done if he was in Ruger’s shoes with a troll comparing with him without another artist, BNXN revealed he would have ignored the tweet and blocked the person.
