Blaqbonez reveals the release date of an exciting collaboration with Young Jonn
Blaqbonez and Young Jonn are set to kick off 2025 with a brand-new collaboration, as the duo officially confirms the release date for their highly anticipated track, “W for Wetego.”
The song is scheduled to drop on February 26, 2025, marking the first official release of the year for both artists. Excitement among fans has been building, fueled by a series of teasers and snippets shared across social media platforms.
Blaqbonez, known for his witty wordplay and unique rap style, has given fans a taste of what to expect by releasing short previews of the track. The snippets showcase an energetic blend of his sharp lyrical prowess combined with Young Jonn’s signature melodic hooks, promising a compelling musical experience.
This is not the first time the two have collaborated. Back in October 2023, they worked together on “No Sleep,” a standout track from Blaqbonez’s third studio album, “Emeka Must Shine.” The song became a fan favorite, further solidifying their chemistry in the studio.
Both artists have enjoyed remarkable success in their respective careers. Blaqbonez’s “Emeka Must Shine” album, released in October 2023, featured 14 tracks and boasted collaborations with industry heavyweights such as Projexx, Jeriq, Victony, Odumodublvck, M24, Zlatan, and international rapper Ludacris.
The project demonstrated his versatility, seamlessly fusing Afrobeats, drill, and R&B elements.
On the other hand, Young Jonn, originally recognized for his outstanding production skills, made a smooth transition into performing. His debut studio album, ‘Jiggy Forever,’ released in April 2024, was a major success.
The project included collaborations with top-tier artists such as Kizz Daniel, Seyi Vibez, Don Jazzy, Zlatan, Blaqbonez, Sean Paul, and Ya Levis, proving his ability to thrive as a singer.
