Some days I eat only once – Blaqbonez reveals, Nigerians react
Nigerian rap sensation Emeka Akumefule, popularly known as Blaqbonez, has stirred reactions with his revelation about his eating habits.
The ‘Haba‘ crooner disclosed that at times, he follows the 0-0-1 eating schedule, consuming only dinner, which is a pattern associated with low-income earners.
Blaqbonez shared this information in response to a Twitter user, @afrobwoyyyy, who expressed skepticism about the practicality of the 0-0-1 eating pattern in real life.
In his reply, Blaqbonez confirmed that he indeed follows the 0-0-1 routine on some days, adding a playful “no homo” to clarify that he wasn’t referring to his colleague, Davido, whose nickname is ‘001,’ and to avoid any potential misinterpretation of his tweet.

In other news, Tacha has clarified her comments regarding popular rappers Odumodublvck, Blaqbonez, and Seyi Vibez, whom she referred to as up-and-coming artists. The clarification comes after Tacha faced backlash on social media for her initial comments during an episode of her Big Friday program on Cool FM.
In a video response, Tacha explained that labeling the trio as “upcoming artists” was not meant to be condescending. During the program, when CDQ was asked about rising artists he liked, he mentioned Majeed and Badboy Timz. Tacha, in an attempt to remind him, mentioned Blaqbonez, Odumodu, and others.
In her defense, Tacha stated that her intention was not to undermine the talent or achievements of these artists but rather to highlight and appreciate their growth and increasing recognition in the industry.
