The nominees for this esteemed category included Asake, Olamide, Davido, Musa Keys, Ayra Starr, and Burna Boy.
Tyla, a South African musician, clinched the award for her chart-topping single “Water,” showcasing her remarkable musical talent and earning her this prestigious accolade.

Brimming with excitement, he enthusiastically shared his thoughts on the groundbreaking addition of the new African category at the Grammys.
