Rapper and songwriter Blaqbonez has finally confirmed a new release date for his highly anticipated album, No Excuses.
The 16-track project, which was originally slated to drop on August 22, 2025, will now hit streaming platforms on Thursday, October 17, 2025.

In a video shared with fans on social media, the Go Home hitmaker explained that the delay was a creative decision rather than a setback.
He admitted that he simply needed more time to perfect the album, saying, “I didn’t finish it on time, that’s the truth. Since I want to put out the best album ever, I’ve refused to cut any corners.”
True to his word, Blaqbonez kept his fans entertained while putting the final touches on the album. On the same day the project was first postponed, he dropped a new single, Everlasting Taker, a song that quickly became a fan favorite and added even more fuel to the growing excitement.
The track joins other successful releases such as Louder, W for WETEGO featuring Young Jonn, Phyno, and DJ 808, and Go Crazy. Another standout track, Follow Her featuring Kizz Daniel, has also helped sustain the buzz around the forthcoming project.
With No Excuses, Blaqbonez is promising fans his “best work yet.” Known for his clever wordplay, humor, and confidence, the rapper continues to evolve with every project.
The upcoming album follows a string of critically acclaimed works, including Sex Over Love (2021), Young Preacher (2022), and Emeka Must Shine (2023), each showcasing Blaqbonez’s ability to push boundaries in Nigerian hip-hop.
As October 17 draws closer, fans are eagerly waiting to see how the self-proclaimed “Best Rapper in Africa” plans to raise the bar once again and prove that in his world, there truly are no excuses.
