Blaqbonez reacts as Asake displaces him and CKay moments after hitting No. 1
Popular Nigerian hip-hop artist Emeka Akumefule, also known as Blaqbonez, reacted when his song with Ckay titled “HALLELUJAH” topped Apple Music Nigeria and lamented online after the star from Afrobeats knocks him out on the leaderboard.
CKay’s song “Hallelujah“ featuring Blaqbonez hit #1 on Apple Music Nigeria on Monday night June 5 and they took to their personal Twitter page to celebrate.
The crooner “Love Nwantiti“ is especially grateful that this is the first time his song has made it to the top.
CKay thanked fans for their support and love as they released their new single.
“HALLELUJAH NUMBER ONE IN NIGERIA! my first one! Thank you for the love and support. Big announcement soon! 🇳🇬💜✨” he wrote.

However, about an hour later, Asake’s Amapiano which features Olamide, replaced Hallelujah.
This left Blaqbonez stunned, and he lamented that they would not allow him to open champagne to celebrate before dethroning them.
He wrote; “Damn niqqas didn’t even let me pop the champagne yet 😂”
