Blaqbonez cautions Asake over his recent achievements.
Nigerian rapper Emeka Akumefule, also known as Blaqbonez, has issued some warnings and his dissatisfaction with his colleague, Asake over his recent achievements.
According to Blaqbonez, he was not okay with the number one position Asake keeps holding on different music charts in the country.
He revealed this after the singer’s most recent single, “Terminator,” topped the charts on Spotify Daily Top 50 Songs and Apple Music Top Songs in Nigeria.
Blaqbonez also stated that he hopes Asake’s impending debut album, ‘Mr. Money With The Vibe,’ fails when it is released on September 2, 2022, so he [Blaqbonez] may take the lead when he releases the lead single from his next body of work.

The body of work, ‘Mr. Money With The Vibe,’ contains 12 tracks, including his previous releases, ‘Sungba’ remix featuring Grammy winner Burna Boy, ‘Peace Be Unto You,’ and his latest viral song, ‘Terminator.’
Although Blaqbonez noted he loves Asake, he had to hate his success. He Wrote:
“love to my bro Asake but I’m going to have to start hating on you from today onwards, every day I wake I’d hope you’ve left number 1 for the rest of us, my album’s first single drops a week after your album, I’d be hoping your album flops so I can shine, so sorry about this. Hate back in Uni >>>>> Terminator.”
