African artists and notable figures received recognition on Variety’s best-dressed list from the 66th Grammy Award Ceremony.

Blaqbonez, Tyla, Ayra Starr, Hannatu Musawa, and Folake Olowofoyeku were featured in Variety Entertainment’s compilation of Best Dressed Looks from the 2024 Grammy Awards.

The ceremony, held on February 4, 2024, saw South African songstress Tyla secure the title for Best African Music Performance. Despite Nigerian artists facing notable losses in all nominated categories, they made a striking impression with their impeccable fashion choices at the event.

The Minister of Art and Culture of Nigeria, Hannatu Musawa, elegantly adorned herself in a stunning black bejeweled dress paired with a green gele.

Blaqbonez, the Nigerian artist, exuded sophistication in a sleek black suit embellished with a striking snake design, styled by creative director Sebastien Day (Visionary Bash). Ayra Starr graced the 2024 Grammys in a captivating light blue two-piece ensemble crafted by American fashion designer Candice Cuoco.

Tyla dazzled in a custom-made Donatella Versace Atelier dress, a masterpiece that required over 230 hours to create.

The Versace gown, crafted from georgette with fluid draping, featured intricate micro-draping and crystal embroidery detailing. Set over a one-sleeve nude base with crystal net, it exuded elegance and sophistication.
