The singer beats Nanky, Chief One, and others to win discovery of the year at the 2022 Ghana Entertainment Awards USA.
Ghanaian musician and performer Mohammed Ismail Sherif Kwaku Frimpong, known professionally as Black Sherif, has been named the discovery of the year at the 2022 Ghana Entertainment Awards USA.
The 4th Ghana Entertainment Awards USA was held on Friday night, July 8 into the early hours of Saturday, July 9, 2022. The event marks its return from a two-year break due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The main aim of GEA USA is to showcase the accomplishments of Ghanaian artists and entertainers who thrive in a variety of fields both inside and outside of Ghana.

The event also uses the platform to celebrate and promote Ghanaian talents.
The popular Ghanaian artist was named Discovery Of The Year. To win the desired reward, he defeated Nanky, Tripcy, Jay Bhad, Talaat Yaaky, Kawabanga, and Chief One.
