Black Sherif confirms release date of new song featuring Fireboy DML
In an exciting update for music fans, Ghanaian artist Black Sherif has confirmed the release date of his highly anticipated new song featuring Nigerian superstar Fireboy DML.
The track, titled “So It Goes,” will be released on Thursday, January 30, 2025, as part of Black Sherif’s upcoming album ‘Iron Man.’

Fireboy DML, known for hits like “Peru” and “Vibration,” continues to rise as one of Africa’s top musical talents, while Black Sherif has captured global attention with his storytelling and hits such as “Kwaku The Traveller” and “Second Sermon.”
Fans are eagerly anticipating this collaboration between the two musical powerhouses, which follows Black Sherif’s first release of 2025, “Lord I’m Amazed.” The track is expected to be another smash hit, adding excitement for what’s to come from his upcoming album.

Adding to the anticipation, Black Sherif has announced his ‘Iron Boy Tour‘ set to take place across North America in April 2025. The tour will feature stops in six cities, including Washington, DC, Boston, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Toronto, running from April 4 to April 17.
The tour comes on the heels of his 2024 singles, including ‘January 9th,’ ‘Shut Up,’ ‘Kilos Milos,’ ‘Zero,’ and ‘Rebel Music,’ and is expected to pave the way for his highly anticipated sophomore album.
