The “Kweku The Traveller” hitmaker dragged to court by ex financier
Ghanaian fast-rising artist, Mohammed Ismail, better known as Black Sherif, has been sued by his former manager, Shadrach Agyei Owusu, popularly known as Snap Chavis Wayne, for alleged breach of contract.
Black Sherif is reportedly facing a lawsuit made by the CEO of Waynes Chavis Consult who accused him of abandonment after investing in his career as an artist.
Snap filed a complaint in an Accra High Court, accusing Sherif of abandoning his record label in order to sign a deal with an international organization, Empire Entertainment, without proper notification or procedure.

His manager is seeking a court decision that restricts the artist from performing at shows.
He is also filing for “an order for the appointment of a receiver to receive any and all funds that may accrue to the Defendant/Respondent from the use and exploitation of his music and image.”
The Ghanian star who currently bagged a distribution deal with Empire, an international label has not commented on the charges made so far.
A writ of summons slammed on Black Sherif on Monday, April 11, 2022, stated that he is expected to respond in eight days.

The former manager is also requesting that an injunction be issued on the Second Sermon crooner, preventing him from performing at any event until the lawsuit is completed.
