Ghanaian award-winning artist and performer Mohammed Ismail Sherif Kwaku Frimpong, known professionally as Black Sherif, has achieved a new record for Ghanaian music with his hit song “Kwaku The Traveller” on Boomplay.
This is a huge win for Black Sherif, his team, and the entire nation of Ghana because his songs are really making waves and that will open doors for other talented acts like himself and they put Ghana out there.

After being accepted into the YouTube Foundry Class of 2022, Black Sherif was included in an Audiomack UpNow project a few weeks ago, and today his song Kwaku The Traveller becomes the first Ghanaian song to achieve 50 million streams on Boomplay.
