In a candid revelation, talented Ghanaian artist Mohammed Ismail Sharrif, professionally known as Black Sherif, discussed the challenges he has encountered in his career, shedding light on the silent struggles he has endured.
The acclaimed artist chose to open up during a TikTok livestream, where he candidly addressed the relentless targeting he has faced from certain individuals.
During the live video, he disclosed that these attacks on his life have been steadily intensifying, leading to considerable distress and unease.
Black Sherif expressed how his peace of mind has been disrupted due to the escalating threats he has been enduring.
In his words, “People have pestered me, chased me to slash my throat.”
After making this disclosure, an emotional Black Sherif ended the live video abruptly.
“I’ve been at war, I’ve been growing my hair, I’ve been running, I’ve been recording, I’ve been talking to my mum and dad. There’s been a lot going on. When it’s all said and done, everybody go hear am.
“No one is excluded. People who have pestered me before, others have chased me and want to slash my throat. People dey chase my throat, dey want slash am! On God! (speaks pijin),” he stated in the said TikTok live.
Since then, his comments have raised worries from internet users, who have urged key players to take them seriously.
Others have prayed for him and lamented the degree of hatred in the entertainment industry.
