    Ghanaian rapper and vocalist Mohammed Ismail Sherif, popularly known as Black Sherif, has hit a new career milestone on the global entertainment identification platform known as Shazam.

    The Ghanaian singer’s latest single ‘Kwaku The Traveller’ becomes the most shazamed song in the world.

    The rapper’s new hit is doing the lord’s work and spreading like wildfire.

    Shazam is an application that can recognize music, movies, advertisements, and television shows based on a short sample played through the device’s microphone.

    With over two hundred and seventy thousand (270,000) Shazams, Black Sherif’s “Kwaku the Traveller,” which recently became Nigeria’s number one song, is currently the most shazamed music in the world.

    In other news, Shatta Wale has expressed his dissatisfaction at being compared to the “Second Sermon (Remix)” hitmaker. The singer is making it known that he is not happy with the comparison.

    The 20-year-old, who is one of the fastest emerging talents in the Ghanaian music industry and abroad, is garnering a lot of attention, which has led to parallels between him and Shatta Wale, who has been in the industry for several years.
