Black Sherif wins first BET Award for ‘Best International Flow’ at 2023 Hip-Hop Awards.
Ghanaian talented artist Black Sherif has bagged his first BET award in the “Best International Flow” category at the 2023 Hip Hop Awards.
This achievement comes after being nominated twice, and this time, he emerged victorious in the Best International Flow category at the 2023 BET Hip Hop Awards.
Black Sherif outshone nine other rappers to claim the award, including fellow African nominees Aka and K.O from South Africa, as well as Sampa The Great from Zimbabwe. His competition also included Gazo (France), Central Cee (UK), J Hus (UK), Major Rd (Brazil), Ninho (France), and Tasha & Tracie (Brazil).
Notably, Black Sherif received his first nomination in the ‘Best International Flow’ category last year but did not win, losing to Benjamin Epps.
This year, he competed in the ‘Best International Flow’ category alongside Benjamin Epps (France), Central Cee (UK), Blxckie (South Africa), Haviah Mighty (Canada), Knucks (UK), Le Juiice (France), Nadia Nakai (Zimbabwe), and Tasha & Tracie (Brazil) at the 2023 BET Hip Hop Awards.
The show was taped in Atlanta on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, and is scheduled to be broadcasted live on October 10th, offering fans a chance to celebrate Black Sherif’s well-deserved victory.
