Fast-rising Afrobeats singer FOLA (Folarin Odunlami) is stepping into a new chapter of his career as he prepares to headline his first major Lagos concert, a milestone many have been anticipating since his breakout.

The show, aptly titled What a Feeling, is scheduled for Monday, December 15, 2025, at the Balmoral Event Center, Victoria Island, where fans will gather for an evening of soul-stirring performances. The concert will run from 7 PM to 1 AM.
The event carries the same name as his debut EP, a project that introduced many to FOLA’s refreshing blend of R&B, pop, Afro-Caribbean influences, and modern Afrobeats.
Under Bella Shmurda’s Dagbana Republik, the singer has enjoyed a swift rise, fueled by standout tracks such as Alone, which features Bhadboi OML and boasts a fan-favorite remix with BNXN, and Who Does That, featuring Bella Shmurda.
His signature heartfelt storytelling wrapped in smooth, calming vocals has earned him millions of streams and a loyal online following.
Released in late 2024, the What a Feeling EP explored themes of heartbreak, healing, growth, and self-discovery. Many listeners connected with the confessional tone of the project, making it one of the sleeper successes of the new-wave Afrobeats movement.
Now, the Lagos concert aims to bring that emotional journey to life. Fans can expect an intimate yet energetic atmosphere, with FOLA performing songs that he has often described as music created to give listeners “goosebumps” and a deep sense of connection.
From performing as a teenager in a high school band to becoming one of the standout voices shaping contemporary Afrobeats, FOLA’s upcoming headlined show marks a long-awaited milestone in a remarkable rise.
Tickets for the ‘What a Feeling’ concert are now available online.
