Nigerian singer, Bella Shmurda discusses his financial situation and addresses the constant comparison of artists and their net worth.
According to Bella Shmurda, he hurried things and as a result, is no longer as wealthy as he once was.
He made it plain in a conversation with well-known YouTuber Korty EO that he is not currently in financial difficulty; rather, he simply does not have as much money as he formerly did.
He stated he wasted a lot of money on things he did not need in the end.
In his words;
“It’s not like I’m broke though. I used to have money, like money but I rushed things. Only if I had sense at the time.
“As the money was coming in, I was just buying a lot of things. Things I didn’t eventually need.
“At this point, as I am getting new money, I have to think about every move I want to take,” he said.
The ‘New Born Fela’ singer mentioned that at the time he had 10 friends staying with him in a four-bedroom apartment, with additional women.
He admitted that he purchased three vehicles at once so that his friends could load them up anytime he wanted to go out.

“There were up to 10 friends staying with me at that time. Four bedroom flat, 10 boys. We would still carry women.
“That time, I wanted to buy a car, I bought three at once.
“I bought three because if I want to go out, I would want my boys to fill up another car can so we can be in a convoy.
“Coming from nothing, I’ll start with 10 or 15 boys? Mad man,” he said.
Additionally, Bella Shmurda stated that it is impossible to compare the wealth of different artists because of their varied financial situations.
“You can’t compare Wizzy’s money to Omah Lay’s money. You cant compare Rema’s money to Ruger’s money. They are richer than themselves now.
“And you can’t compare my money to Olamide’s money,” he said.
Bella Shmurda recounted spending over two million Naira at the club in one night.
According to him, he can no longer spend two million naira on drinks.
He said that he could spend such money in a day but only on the things that would fetch him profit.
He added that he had to cut some things down because they sometimes bring unnecessary problems.
