Bella Shmurda Discusses His Views on Internet Fraud
Akinbiyi Abiola Ahmed, better known as Bella Shmurda, has spoken out about Internet fraud.
This cybercrime fraud, often known as “Yahoo Yahoo,” has now been deeply ingrained in the psyche of many Nigerian teenagers and is regarded as a commendable pastime in Nigerian culture.
Recall that the Nigerian highlife musician Flavour recently appeared on MTV’s “Catfish” episode after a Nigerian con man impersonated him to defraud a US woman.
In an interview with renowned media personality Quincy Jonze, singer Bella Shmurda spoke candidly about the issue.
Quincy Jonze questioned the “CashApp” crooner if he ever got involved in ‘Yahoo Yahoo‘.
Although the singer didn’t answer directly, he hinted that he was entangled in it before fame.

According to the singer, the “Yahoo Boys” fraudsters cannot be held responsible since they regard it as a means of living given the deplorable situation of the country’s economy.
He stated that internet fraud isn’t something to be proud of and it’s not most people’s wish to be involved in scams.
Asked if he had been involved in the fraudulent activity before, Bella Shmurda again gave a diplomatic answer, which didn’t state whether he had or hadn’t.
In his words;
“Just shoutout to everybody. Everybody are looking for their ends. You can’t just blame anybody..this part of the world, where we find ourself is messed up. For you to make it, you just have to do dig in somethings, you know. Even some people won’t question you, dey know how e dey go. And it so painful, you just have to get money somehow, somehow. It’s not everybody wish. Even people that got that money through that means, are not happy with it.”
