Nigerian street-pop sensation Bella Shmurda has finally dropped his long-awaited sophomore album, “Sanity,” a 16-track odyssey that blends grit, groove, and unfiltered truth.

Released on the 2nd of October 2025, under the Dangbana Republik imprint, the project feels less like just another record and more like a landmark chapter in Bella’s journey, rooted in his Lagos hustle and the battles he has conquered along the way.
‘Sanity‘ is built on contrasts: the chaos of the streets against the serenity of survival, traditional rhythms rubbing shoulders with futuristic beats.
Executive produced by the Dangbana Republik team, the album stitches together trap-heavy production, Afrobeats energy, and Yoruba-rooted instrumentation like talking drums and agidigbo, creating a sound that honours Nigerian heritage while reaching for global ears.
Bella doesn’t walk this path alone. The album is a communal effort, with appearances from K1 De Ultimate, CKay, Seyi Vibez, King Promise, and more.

Their contributions amplify the project’s depth without dimming Bella’s raw, gravelly voice the anchor that gives every track weight, whether he’s flexing on a party anthem or baring scars on slower cuts.
Highlights abound: “Appraisal” opens the record with a meditative reflection on resilience; “Bounce” featuring Seyi Vibez explodes with infectious energy built for nightclubs; “Fuji Fusion” with K1 De Ultimate offers a rare, generational meeting point of Fuji improvisation and street-pop edge; while “Bygone” with CKay softens the tempo into an R&B-inspired haze of nostalgia.
Songs like “Holy Jah” and “Pain” provide quiet, spiritual reprieve—proof that behind the street bravado lies introspection and faith.
With ‘Sanity,’ Bella Shmurda cements himself as more than just a hitmaker he emerges as a voice for the underdog, carrying the pulse of the streets into Afrobeats’ global expansion.
The LP is available now on all major streaming platforms, ready to soundtrack everything from Lagos street corners to stages across the world.
